Chase was bred by John Marsman of Marsport Brittanys in Michigan and he is out of Ch. Marsport Mustang Marki and Ch. Cimmaron's Setem Up Joe. He was born April 15, 2007 and arrived at Sunquest Brittanys on June 12, 2007. He is a lot of fun and we believe there could be a Dual Championship in his future!

As a new Special in 2010, Chase has earned multiple Best of Breed wins, two additional Best in Specialty Show wins, and multiple Group placements on the lead of Sara Taylor. We are looking forward to more wins and even more fun with the Chaser-Man!

In 2009, Chase went Winners Dog every day at the Scottsdale cluster and was named Winners Dog/Best of Winners at the Sahuaro Brittany Club specialty show. He also received a Judge's Award of Merit at the specialty. He earned his 2nd 4 point major at the Rio Grande Kennel Club in New Mexico during May. He finished his Championship at the Flagstaff Kennel Club shows in June 2009 by going Best of Breed from the Open Dog Class over a special. A special thanks to Kim Barwick for putting every point on him to finish his Championship and handling him beautifully every step of the way! In his first outing as a "special" with Hank handling, Chase went Best of Breed over 6 other specials including two ranked Brittanys on both days he was entered . He spent the summer at camp with Scott Johnson of Covey Find Kennel training for adult field trial stakes and ran in a field trial less than a week before winning Best of Breed at both Central New Mexico Brittany Club specialty shows in October 2009, handled beautifully by Junior Handler Kimberly Barwick. Kim & Chase won Best of Breed 3 of 4 days at the Coyote Classic in Tucson and took a Group 2 in the Sporting Group at the new El Paso shows!

In 2008, Chase won Winners Dog at the Prescott Kennel Club Show and Winners Dog/Best of Winners at the Central New Mexico Brittany Club Specialty for a 4 point major. He was Best in Sweepstakes over 21 other puppies at the California Brittany Club Specialty in May then won another Sweepstakes at the San Diego Brittany Club specialty in August. He was Best in Sweepstakes and Best Puppy in Show at the Sahuaro Brittany Club Specialty show in March. He was also Reserve Winners Dog at the Sahuaro specialty show and again at an all breed show that same weekend. He earned 4 major reserve wins from the puppy classes with very limited showing. At Chase's first show weekend, at the age of 7 months, he went Reserve Winners Dog to a 5-point major (owner handled.) He won Best in Match at the Greater Sierra Vista Kennel Club fun match in April 2008!
